Birthdays & Blessing

Hunter and Jackson both celebrated a birthday last week. Hunter on the 2nd of February and Jackson on the 1st. Hunter turned 6 and had a party with some friends from school. He still really likes Star Wars so for the 3rd birthday in a row we had a Star Wars party. The kids had a great time eating pizza and playing games, but then again what group of 6 year olds doesn't have fun when they are all hyped up on soda and cake! We saved Jackson's party till the 7th, the same day we blessed Anna, so that the family could be there. We still celebrated on the actual day of birth with just our little family, then of course we recognized Hunter at the family party too, so my kids are pretty much all partied out! Anna's blessing was beautiful. Nate did a wonderful job and blessed Anna with so many good things in life. Afterward we went to Amber Springs (you know, that event center Nate has been building. Get used to the name I will probably refer to it alot) where we had cake and opened birthday presents. Anna got a few things too since it was also her big day. I tell ya it is nice to have all my kids birthdays around the same time because now I don't have to do this again for a whole year! All in all it was a great day. Thank you to all who came and all who wanted to but where unable, you were missed.

We had a great time, thanks for inviting us. Anna looked beautiful in her blessing dress!

Anna's dress is very pretty. Looks like a lot of fun. Tell the boys Happy 'late' birthday from us here in Utah;)

Most who view this blog already know about us, but for those who don't here goes. Jackie is a stay-at-home mom and has been married to a very handsome man for the past 12 years. We have two equally handsome boys and one beautiful daughter. Hunter is 6 and wants to be a Jedi Knight when he grows up. Jackson is 2 and adores his big brother. Anna is our newest edition and we are glad to have her. Nate (the handsome husband) is a general contractor and works in his family's business. We started this blog to keep up with friends and family members who live far away in hopes of keeping in better contact with those we care about, so if you are one of them "this blogs for you!"
